De Wallen

De Wallen is the oldest section in Amsterdam. The district is also home to several historic buildings, including the city’s oldest church, the Gothic-style Oude Kerk. The neighbourhood covers several canals and side streets to the south of Central Station. It is Amsterdam’s red-light district, the city’s designated area for legalized prostitution.

 

Bike rides

Keukenhof Gardens

Each spring, the Keukenhof Gardens in Lisse come alive with blooming flowers in every colour of the rainbow. In 2021 Keukenhof will be open from Saturday March 20 until Sunday May 9, 2021.

 

Giethoorn

Giethoorn (is about 125km from Amsterdam) is a little village is so dependent on its waterways, many of the houses cannot be reached by road. When the postman delivers the mail he travels by punt.
