Swing ‘Over the Edge’

Over the Edge’ is Europe’s highest swing on A’DAM LOOKOUT’s sky deck. Daredevils and thrill seekers swing back and forth at a height of 100 meters over the edge of the A’DAM Tower.

De Wallen

De Wallen is the oldest section in Amsterdam. The district is also home to several historic buildings, including the city’s oldest church, the Gothic-style Oude Kerk. The neighbourhood covers several canals and side streets to the south of Central Station. It is Amsterdam’s red-light district, the city’s designated area for legalized prostitution.

 

Bike rides

Cycling tops the list of outdoor activities in the Netherlands and most locals use their bikes primarily to get around. Did you know that there are more bikes than people in Amsterdam?

Head south and get to the colourful blooms in the famed Flower Strip, which are best seen in the spring, or head north from Amsterdam to explore historic harbour towns such as Marken or Volendam.

 

Windmills at the Zaanse Schans

The Zaanse Schans is a unique part of the Netherlands, full of wooden houses, mills, barns and workshops. Make a cycling or sailing trip, browse the shops or treat yourself at the pancake restaurant. A day out at the Zaanse Schans in North Holland is fun and educational.

Keukenhof Gardens

Each spring, the Keukenhof Gardens in Lisse come alive with blooming flowers in every colour of the rainbow. In 2021 Keukenhof will be open from Saturday March 20 until Sunday May 9, 2021.

 

Giethoorn

Giethoorn (is about 125km from Amsterdam) is a little village is so dependent on its waterways, many of the houses cannot be reached by road. When the postman delivers the mail he travels by punt.
