Wow, We had a wonderful time in Amsterdam. Our room had a great view of the canal. It was really nice that we were able to open the three large windows of our fourth floor room. The staff were really friendly and helpful. Thank you for such a comfortable stay!!! |

I should like to thank you for a most pleasant stay at the Amstelzicht. Your courtesy and helpfulness were most appreciated; Robert's suggestion of the restaurant around the corner was inspired and we hope to return some day soon. We shall certainly recommend you to friends and family.
Our room was spacious and with a lovely view - most comfortable. Our only reservation about our stay was the noise overnight from the street below, but I appreciate there is little you can do about this, and that there has to be a price for spaciousness plus a view.

My first visit to Amsterdam was made even better by this great hotel. Since we arrived at the hotel we have been treated very nicely by the staff. We arrived around 9.00 am at the hotel. The reception clerk probably noticed that we were very tired from an overnight flight and he offered us a nice cup of coffee before checking in. Later we discovered that free coffee is offered every morning!
We were able to leave the luggage until we could check in to our room. By the way the staff was very helpful with carrying the luggage to our room, which was at the top floor. The room has all facilities we needed, was nicely decorated and it has a splendid view on the Amstel Canal. One day it was raining the whole day, fortunately the hotel offered big golf umbrellas! Resuming, a nice hotel with reasonable prices in the center of Amsterdam.
